Faster indexing
We rebuilt the on-device index from the ground up. Large archives are ready to search in a fraction of the time, and indexing now runs quietly in the background while you work.
Shareable galleries
Answer a vendor or deliver to a client without leaving Orbit. Search the moment, select the keepers, and send a single link. Sharing uses an optional free account. The app itself stays fully local.
Rediscover
Your home screen now resurfaces your own work: never-posted gems, on-this-day throwbacks, and last spring's drive. It feels alive, not like a file browser.
Search by color and vibe
Natural search now understands color and mood, not just subjects. Ask for "golden hour, warm tones, outdoor" or "moody black and white" and Orbit reads every frame on-device to find it.
RAW everywhere
Added support for CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, and HEIC alongside JPEG, TIFF, and PNG. Orbit reads them in place and never moves, renames, or changes your originals.
